About Govform

Do I need technical skills to use Govform?

Absolutely—you can build compelling digital services in Govform without writing code.

The visual Builder gives you the building blocks for questions, guidance, validation and navigation. You can start small, see the experience immediately and add more sophisticated behaviour as you learn.

Go further with the tools already built in

  • Start from something useful. Choose a template, reuse a pattern or ask Darcy to help create a service from a description or existing documents.
  • Build with ready-made components. Add choices, dates, addresses, uploads, signatures and task lists through their settings.
  • Make the journey intelligent. Configure conditions to reveal follow-up questions, route people to relevant pages and apply validation rules.
  • See what users will see. User view lets you try the journey while you build; Flow view helps you inspect its routes.
  • Reuse across your team. Shared branding and reusable patterns reduce repeated setup and keep services consistent.

Bring specialists in where they add value

For an everyday form or approval journey, the Builder can take you a long way. When a service needs a bespoke API, identity-provider setup or advanced calculations, technical colleagues can configure those parts without taking over every content change.

Liquid templates provide an additional option for dynamic content, calculations and integration payloads. You can adopt them when useful, while keeping ordinary questions and service content in the visual Builder.
