AI & Darcy

Can AI help map service answers onto a PDF?

Yes. Govform can suggest where service answers belong on a PDF template, and Darcy can help identify the right field for an individual answer box.

This reduces the work of connecting an online journey to an existing document layout, while leaving every mapping available for inspection and adjustment.

Map a document or match one field

  • Auto-map fields. Upload a template in a Templated PDF action and ask Govform to suggest mappings. It can use available PDF field metadata or AI matching against the service's fields.
  • Keep or replace existing work. Choose whether to preserve mappings already shown and suggest missing ones, or delete them first and start again.
  • Find with Darcy AI. Describe the answer an individual box needs, such as “the applicant's work email”, and Darcy suggests the closest eligible service field.

Check the finished document

Review the suggested field, field part or selection choice, then check the box position. Generate a PDF using representative answers, including long text, optional blanks and every mapped selection. You can correct a suggestion or add a mapping manually.

A different template can move its answer areas, so review the mappings whenever the source PDF changes.

What about SharePoint automapping?

SharePoint's Automap to QA site is a separate, rules-based setup shortcut. It creates or updates QA list columns from service fields and replaces the action's existing mappings. Review the connected list and test the integration after using it.
